She then followed her posts with a screenshot of an email Savannah sent Julie containing the lyrics to CeCe Winans’ “Be Still and Know.” The song, which is about God being there through hardships, was also playing in the background.

“Sav, thank you for sending this. Love you always, Mama,” Julie replied.

The next day, on Aug. 21, Savannah shared some thoughts on her mom being denied a virtual appearance at her September hearing — and made it clear that she wasn’t very happy about the decision.

“For those wondering what’s going on right now…” she wrote. “The judge denied our motion for my mother to attend her hearing via Zoom. When you are in prison it is VERY customary to attend via Zoom.”

“What does this mean? My mother will be shackled and transported for the next month… plane… bus… etc. with MEN.. some [of] whom are VIOLENT,” she continued. “I don’t know when I will hear from her next. This punishment does NOT fit the alleged crime.”

Along with the captions, Savannah also shared an old photo of her hugging Julie as a child, and ascreenshot of the PEOPLE articlerevealing the judge’s denial. Elevation Worship’s “Trust in God” was the song playing with the Story.

“Indeed, the government’s brief concedes that the evidence shows Julie ‘participated in the bank fraud conspiracy from 2007,’ not 2006,” it concluded.

The family matriarch is set to be resentenced in September, with Savannah openly hoping that will result in Julie’s return home.

“Anything I can do to help her get in the best space she could possibly ever be in, that’s what I’m gonna do,” she explained on a recent episode of herUnlockedpodcast. “Because I can only imagine how she’s gonna feel coming home, and it’s gonna be overwhelming. And when I get the call that she can come home, I honestly don’t think I’m gonna tell anyone.”

“It’s just gonna be a lot to be reintegrated back into things when you live literally in the same freaking room, 24 hours a day, freaking 365 days a year,” she added. “It’s gonna be tough for her. So that does worry me, but at the same time, we all know we can do it.”
