Selling SunsetWill Not Have a Season 8 Reunion Despite Unresolved Drama

Selling Sunset’s eighth season was full ofbombshells, but the cast won’t be hashing out the drama in a reunion.

PEOPLE can confirm that Netflix isn’t releasing one of its special reunion episodes that have followed some of the real estate docusoap’s past seasons — and have become known for their juicy revelations.

On Wednesday,Varietyclaimed the reason for skipping a reunion this year was a“cast mutiny.”

The Oppenheim Group’s agents are currently caught up in numerous feuds — with each other and the show’s producers.

In the days leading up to the season’s Sept. 6 premiere, Stause andChelsea Lazkanitook to their Instagram Stories to slam a rumor involving their friendEmma Hernan.

In the 10th episode of the season, Nicole Young says she heard “from a reliable source” that Hernan “has likely had relations with a married man.”

“I will NEVER work on a show with her on it again. I would rather be sued,” Stause added, referring to Young. “Disclaimer when you watch: just know she spews a disgusting lie about a bestie that is categorically FALSE and SUPER damaging. It is NOT TRUE.”

TheA Rose for Her Graveactress also addressed the show’s producers at Done and Done Productions, calling them “disgusting” for “blindsiding” Hernan “instead of letting her at least defend herself with the truth."

On her own Instagram Stories, Lazkani tagged Young and wrote, “You are the most diabolical piece of 🗑️ I’ve ever met. You want to start a rumor about Emma because all the rumors about you are true. Okay, let’s see how this works out for you…”

Lazkani also tagged the producers and asked, “where is your moral ground and integrity?? Spreading lies for views is so damaging.”

The season’s other shocking feud is between Lazkani and Bre Tiesi, whoseriftcontinues from past seasons.

In the third episode, Tiesi learns from her friend Amanda thatLazkani’s husband of nearly seven years was spotted “making out” with another womanand decides to share the unsettling information with Lazkani over a drink.

“A friend I’ve known for a couple of years, Amanda, asked to go to lunch,” Tiesi tells Lazkani in episode 5. “She told me that her friend, who she’s still very close with and sees, lives at the W Hotel in Hollywood, and that he saw your husband with some girl…”

Tiesi insists she had good intentions in telling Lazkani what she heard, but Stause and Hernan later question why she brought up the subject on camera.

Tiesi ends the discussion, declaring, “Now I’m starting to get really f—ing pissed.” She later ditches a lunch with Hernan and Stause, and unfollows Hernan on Instagram.

Season 9 ofSelling Sunsetis now streaming. Netflix has not yet announced a ninth season.
