SeveranceSeason 2 Trailer: Lumon Is 'Tightening the Leash' on Its Innies as They Seek the Truth About Their Mysterious Employer

Mar. 15, 2025

It’s time to clock in for an all-new season ofSeverance.

The trailer, released on Saturday, Dec. 7 during the show’s panel at CCXP24 in São Paulo, opens with Milchick (Tillman) addressing Mark (Scott) during a one-on-one meeting, saying, “Mr. Scout, I know you’re still weighing whether to return to Lumon.”

“But the Mark I’ve come to know … is happy,” adds Milchick, who is next seen chasing down Mark in the Lumon office. Mark then attempts to make an announcement to the Lumon board, but Milchick catches up in enough time to halt the action, yanking the cord to the speaker.

“What you all did was one of the most painful moments in the history of this company,” Milchick continues in a voiceover. “But the four of you have become known as the face of Severance reform.”

After a newspaper with an article titled “‘INNIES’ BLOW THE WHISTLE” appears, Dylan (Cherry) asks his colleagues Mark, Helly (Lower) and Irving (Turturro): “Okay, so we’re not in trouble?”

“I don’t think so,” Mark said. “Milchick said we’re famous.”

The Innies then meet in a discreet, dimly lit location to discuss what they saw upon Dylan succeeding in awakening Mark, Helly and Irving’s Innies in the real world. It’s then that Mark reveals, “My Outie’s wife died a few years ago. Except, the woman is Ms. Casey.”

“So what are you gonna do?” asks Helly before Mark responds, “I gotta get her out of here.”

As the gang prepares to unwrap the truth, the trailer next shows Mark spying on one of his bosses, Ms. Cobel (Arquette), at her home. Ms. Cobel attempts to drive off but Mark gets in front of her car to stop her.

“Why did you do this? What is this all about?” Mark yells, pressing himself up against Harmony’s car, before asking a question about his “late” wife Gemma, a.k.a. Ms. Casey. “Do you know something about Gemma?”

But Ms. Cobel hauntingly teases, “Mark, there’ll be no honeymoon ending for you.” Still, as Helly notes, the Innies “fear no one” as scenes of the group racing around to unearth the truth are shown.

“If we let this happen to Ms. Casey,” Mark tells a group of Lumon workers, “who’s gonna step up when it happens to us?”

But one employee, in particular, Mark Scout, begins to unravel the real mystery behind what is happening to them.
