Sienna Miller’s Chic Jumpsuit Teases Her Newly Announced Role with King Charles

Sienna Milleris making a stylish nod to her new partnership withKing Charles.

Miller, who was born in N.Y.C. and raised in London, brings both star power and a personal passion for the foundation’s ethos, marking a new chapter for the charity as it looks ahead to its 35th anniversary in 2025. According to the foundation, she takes a particular interest in textiles and textile production, across which The King’s Foundation offers a range of education courses.

The announcement came during The King’s Foundation’s annual Christmas carol service at St. Paul’s Church in Knightsbridge, London, on Thursday evening, where Miller read Sir John Betjeman’s iconic “Christmas" alongside Angelica Ellis, an embroidery graduate from The King’s Foundation and CHANELMetiers d’art Embroidery Fellowship.

Reflecting on her new role, she said she was “thrilled” to be an ambassador “for an organization with such an important ethos – looking to our natural world to create a better future for our planet.”

“I am particularly looking forward to exploring my interest in textiles and textile production, which the Foundation has so much expertise in," Miller, who shares daughter Marlowe, 12, with her ex Tom Sturridge, and welcomed a daughter with boyfriend Oli Green earlier this year.

“I’m excited to support the huge range of hands-on opportunities for young people to develop their talents in the sector and see the amazing things they go on to next.”

Miller visited The King’s Foundation’s headquarters, Dumfries House, in September 2023 to learn more about the work of the charity and recently attended the organization’s annual Awards Ceremony at St James’s Palace.

Her appointment follows that of former soccer starDavid Beckham, whojoined The King’s Foundationin June. Beckham has visited Highgrove House, where the foundation runs the Metier d’Arts Fellowship, an innovative course focused on textiles and embroidery.

“You see the benefits in France where they’re quite good at producing and keeping their skills. The project here is super important,” she told PEOPLE. “There are things that the tutors here have given me that I don’t think you get anywhere else.”

Fellow student Rosie Merriman, 23, from Cwmbran, Wales, (who imagined a midnight banquet in the garden for her graduation piece that was set on a corset), added, “Having such a person as the King talking about these crafts puts them on the map again.”

Kirstina Murrin, the chief executive of The King’s Foundation, said she was “delighted” to welcome Miller to the organization and join “our mission to build sustainable communities and transform lives across the world.”
