Simone Bilesalmost got a big check after a night out in Paris.
In a TikTokvideo, the gymnast, 27, said a club tried to sell her a pricey bottle of champagne when she went out after theclosing ceremony at the Olympicson August 11.
“We had closing ceremonies at the Olympics, and I went. And after that we went out. This club tried to charge me $26,000 for a bottle of champagne,” she said.
The 11-time Olympic medalist expressed her shock at the incident. “Like are you insane?” she added.
Biles clarified that she did not purchase the bottle of expensive champagne but continued to express her surprise at the mere suggestion.
“Why would you even try to play me like that? Like that’s wild,” she said in the video, noting that the bartender must have noticed who she was.

“I don’t know… sometimes the attention, I’d rather not have it,” she admitted in the video. “I’d want to just be as normal as possible”
