Sister Wives: Christine Brown's New Boyfriend David 'Reminds Me of Kody,' Says Son-in-Law Tony

Christine BrownandDavid Woolleyare smitten, but her family can’t help but notice a few similarities between him and her ex-husbandKody Brown.

On the Sunday, Oct. 20 episode ofSister Wives, Christine opened up about her then-boyfriend David while spending quality time with her children.

When she asked the group for their “first impressions” of her new man, she received glowing reviews from her kids. Christine’s daughterTruelycalled him “funny” and said she got along with him while her other daughterMykelti’s husband Antonio “Tony” Padron admitted, “He reminds me of Kody.”

“Well he’s like from the same generation for sure,” Tony explained after Mykelti asked for clarification. “[He said] all this boomer stuff that I had no idea what he was saying.”

“My mom’s a boomer,” she pointed out. When she asked producers if David fell under the age range to qualify, they broke the news that he technically met the criteria based on the year he was born.

“So David’s a boomer and my mom’s a boomer,” Christine said in disbelief. “David is eight years older than I am — eight.”

The mom of six told her children that she teases him about his age “all the time.” When Mykelti suggested she “tease him about it more” if they’re still together when David turns 60, Christine replied with a proud smile on her face, “I guarantee we will be.”

“I knew after our first date that this was something that I wanted to really invest in,” she told cameras. “My kids, it’s going to be too soon for them but it’s important for me to know how my kids feel about David. But however they feel is not going to end my relationship with David.”

Like Christine predicted, she and David ended up getting their happily ever after.

Christine and David got engaged in April 2023in Utah andtied the knotin October of that year at Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab, Utah.

“It’s a fairytale,” she told PEOPLE of their wedding at the time. “It’s everything I never thought I would have. I get to walk down the aisle to David, him just looking at me the way that he does, it’s a dream come true.”

“Happy Anniversary @david__woolley Gosh, I love you,” she wrote alongside a touching carousel of memories. “It’s been incredible to have you as my partner. I feel so blessed to be married to you and I look forward to the rest of our lives together.”
