SNLPokes Fun at Colin Jost for Making Less Money Than Wife Scarlett Johansson: See His Reaction

“Weekend Update” once again took up its favorite pastime on the latest episode ofSaturday Night Live— mocking co-hostColin Jost.

“Can you imagine, Colin, a man whose wife makes more money than he? Can you imagine? Oh the shame he would feel,” Day, 44, quipped, as Jost attempted to keep a straight face while staring into the camera. “Imagine, Colin, if I were sitting here on television behind this desk, staring at that camera, the world staring back at me, knowing that my wife’s income dwarfs my own! I would die. What a living nightmare. What a nightmare!”

Jost has been married to Marvel star since 2020. The couple share son Cosmo, 3, and Johansson is also mom to daughter Rose, 10, from a previous relationship.

However, when an image of roast beef flashed on the screen when Jost was discussing his wife’s vagina, everyone — including Johansson, who was backstage — was stunned.

“I’m in trouble, I think, with a lot of people,”Jost told Jimmy Fallonwhen asked about the moment in January. “Scarlett was genuinely so shocked.”

And while he got the heads up that there would be “a little vagina joke,” in the show, he had no idea what was coming.

“Scarlett was backstage like, ‘Oh my god, that’s what it is!’ ” Jost laughed, adding that his response to the whole exchange was genuine. “I can’t act that well.”
