Snoop Dogg Hilariously Assists Al Roker in 'Special' Today Show Weather Report Featuring 'Snoop Cities'

Snoop Doggis a man of many talents!

The rapper, 52,made an appearance on theTodayshowon Oct. 17 to helpAl Rokerwith his weather report. In the segment, Snoop joined Roker at the screen showing a map of the United States, but Roker revealed there was a twist.

“Snoop, we’ve prepared a special map,” the weathercaster said. “All you gotta do: touch the map, and you’ll see some special Snoop cities.”

Several spots around the nation then popped up on the screen, with each having a name relating to marijuana, which is Snoop’s specialty. Looking intently, Snoop declared, “It’s 57 degrees in Mary Jane Falls, Nevada?”

“Then I heard it’s gonna be 56 degrees in Stoner, Colorado,” he continued, sharing the temperatures while laughs could be heard behind the cameras. “But my favorite is when it’s nice, hot and misty outside — 84 degrees in Blunt, South Dakota.”

Snoop continued, moving his hand to the “above average highs” section of the map.

“70 degrees in Roach, Missouri,” he said. “And over here, you know we stay lucky in Kentucky. It’s gonna be 60 degrees as we blaze in Blaze, Kentucky. Over here we’ve got Pottsville, Pennsylvania where it’ll be 60 degrees, and down low on the go, 61 degrees at High Point — get that — High Point, North Carolina.”

“That’s the best one we’ve ever had!” Roker exclaimed at the end. “That’s what’s going on around the country — actually, Snoop’s country.”

Another commented, “Martha Stewart better watch out, this could be the next duo in town 😜 🫶,” joking about Roker andTheUnderdoggsactor together.

“In my mind,I made it up that I’m going to go back to being Snoop Doggy Dogg,” the artist recently said at the Bloomberg conference, reflecting on reconnecting with Dre. “I want to be the student, the kid, the passenger. I want to humble myself and go in the studio with him and allow him to, you know, work on me and tell me what I need to do and produce me. Not me try to fight him and think that, ‘Oh, I’m a star!'”

“1993 was the last time he produced a whole Snoop Dogg album. So this is a reunion, and it’s [a] collaboration between two friends who genuinely love each other,” the Long Beach emcee said.

The feeling is mutual. During a March appearance onJimmy Kimmel Live!after receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Dre reflected on helping Snoop launch his career after signing him to what eventually became Death Row Records.

“I’ve never found an artist from a demo tape other than Snoop andEminem,” Dre revealed.
