Steph Curry Finally Has Adorable Meeting with Warriors Superfan Grandma Kitty

Seated in a wheelchair and wearing a No. 30 jersey, Kitty Ford held court with the Chef and had the chance to tell the athlete first-hand about why she’s such a fan, showing him her notebook in which she documents his every move.

The Mechanicville, N.Y. woman then showed Curry, 36, a card she received for Mother’s Day a few years ago.

“Happy Mother’s Day, Mom,” Ford read from the card. “Thank you for teaching us to love God, each other, and Steph Curry.”

In the video, Ford showed off her Curry bobblehead and told him, “Steph, you did good last night,” and then placed the figurine on her mantle — next to the Virgin Mary and assorted crucifixes.

The grandmother also shared a photo that featured a quote from Curry in which the athlete said one should “be humble and grateful” for “all the blessings in your life.”

“See, this is why I like him so,” Ford said.

After seeing the TikTok, Curry invited her to his game in Brooklyn.

“We’d love to have you and bring your book,” Curry said at the time. “You don’t have to watch on League Pass, you can come watch in person.”

On Thursday, Curry cooked up a game: He scored 40 points, and had seven 3-pointers, including one improbable turn-around shot which he drilled from the logo.

He then added the crowning touch for Ford and his other fans: “Night, night,” he mimed with his trademark sleep gesture.
