John Krasinskihas been crownedPEOPLE’s 2024 Sexiest Man Alive— with some help fromStephen Colbert!
“In recent years I have had the tremendous honor of announcing Paul Rudd and Chris Evans for their terms as PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive,” said Colbert, 60. “So it’s safe to say that no man can become the Sexiest until he passes through these lips.”

After announcing Krasinski, 45, as this year’s champ, Colbert wished “a sexy congrats to the very sexy John Krasexski.”
Then out popped theQuiet Placestar from behind the stage to accept the honor, looking very much the part in a gray fitted suit.
What followed was a hilarious ’80s-themed infomercial for “6 Simple Steps to Sexiness,” in which Krasinski taught Colbert how to become PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive. (Spoiler alert: It even featured a surprise cameo from PEOPLE’s 2022 SMA,Chris Evans!)
Colbert hilariously bestowed the title on a previous Sexiest Man Alive, Paul Rudd in 2021, afterforcing the actor to undergo a series of sexy man tests. Rudd passed, and got to wear the crown for a year before it was handed off to Evans, who also accepted it from Colbert, then stepped aside forPatrick Dempsey to take his place.

You guys have really raised the bar for me.”
