Steve Martinhas a lot to celebrate after the2025 SAG Awards!

One day afterOnly Murders in the Buildingwon best ensemble in a comedy and his costarMartin Shortpicked upthe prize for best actor in a comedyduring the awards ceremony, the actor, 79, commemorated the occasion on Instagram after not being in attendance for the big night.

He posted a clip featuringSelena Gomez,Molly Shannon,Nikki Glaserand otherOMITBcast members chanting, “We still don’t believe it!” after winning the best ensemble honor.

“I’m the buddy of a winner!” Martin, 79, wrote in the caption. “Congratulations to Martin Short for his best comedy actor award, and thank you SAG for our comedy ensemble award!”

Martin previously revealed that Shortcontracted COVIDwhile attending theSNL50: The Anniversary Speciallast week.

“We never win. This is so weird!” Gomez joked before poking fun at her fellow cast members. “Marty and Steve aren’t here because, you know, they don’t really care.”

“But I just, I don’t know what to say,” she continued. “Thank you to Marty and Steve for — well they raised me. But I genuinely am just so grateful to everybody. The writers, everyone deserves this. And I take it home for all of us, and I’m bringing this back to New York for season five. Thank you so much. I’m so grateful.”
