SZAis clapping back at social media trolls who have anything to say about her appearance.On Dec. 30, the “Good Days” singer, 35, posted a throwback video on X, formerly twitter. In the clip, she discussed staying at her mother’s house during quarantine in 2020. She later recalled being at her lowest point mentally during the pandemic.“Covid was hard … my granny had just died … I was hella depressed n masking . Not eating. Over working out,“she wrote. “But I always had my childhood home to n get lost . Still do . Grateful to be in a much better mental space now. s/o to those days tho.“One user commented on the post and claimed that the artist simply “got big” during that time, prompting her to quickly reply.“Yall say weird s— like this and wonder why I’m different and don’t feel comfortable w yall anymore . However, she admitted that “it just wasn’t super necessary.”“I have other s— that I need to work on about myself,” said SZA (whose real name is Solána Imani Rowe). “I need to get my f—ing mental health together … Not to say you can’t do those things simultaneously, just, for me, I realize wherever you go, there you’ll be.”Still, she said she’s not ruling out any further procedures: “I’ll do a whole bunch more s— just like it if I want to before I’m f—ing dead because this body is temporary.”However, the“Saturn”singer told the outlet that the recovery from the process from her BBL was tough. “I gained all this weight from being immobile while recovering and trying to preserve the fat. It was just so stupid. But who gives a f—? You got a BBL, you realize you didn’t need the s—. It doesn’t matter.”But in hindsight, SZA shared, “I love my butt. Don’t get me wrong. My booty look nice. And I’m grateful that it looks pretty much … I don’t know, sometimes natural, but I don’t even care. It’s something that I wanted.”
