Talulah Rileyis opening up about her love life, past and present.

In a new interview with U.K. newspaperThe Timespublished Thursday, Aug. 15, the actress, 38, was asked which of her three weddings was best — she tied the knot withElon Musktwice and is currently married toThomas Brodie-Sangster— and elected not to compare them.

“Um, I don’t know how fair it is to rank weddings. All my weddings have been very lovely,” Riley toldThe Times, adding that they were all “different, but equally lovable.”

ThePride and Prejudiceactress — whomarried Brodie-Sangster, 34, earlier this summer — is still good friends with Musk, 53, who was also at the June 22 nuptials in England.

And, despite their two divorces — they first married in 2010 and divorced in 2012, then married again the following year beforefinalizing their second divroce in 2016— Riley only had complimentary things to say about the tech mogul, the interviewer noted.

“Well, you know more than anyone how what we read in the mainstream media is not necessarily an absolute truth,” Riley toldThe Times, before using a wrestling analogy to explain that Musk as a public figure is very different from the man she knows.

“It’s ‘kayfabe’ — everyone’s telling a story to a certain extent and will frame things to a certain extent,” she said. “I loved/love the guy, so I’m incredibly subjective in my opinion, cannot be unbiased and shouldn’t be expected to be either. I’m sure, well… You know what being in love is, right?"

Riley and Brodie-Sangster first met in 2021 while working on FX showPistol, and the actorshared the news of the couple’s engagement onInstagramin July 2023 writing, “Happy to announce that Talulah and I are engaged,” as well as adding a nod to the movie he starred in at 13 years old,Love Actually.

His then-fiancée also posted the news on social media at the time, sharing a post on  X (formerly Twitter) that said, “Very happy to share that after two years of dating, Thomas Brodie Sangster and I are engaged!”

InThe Timesinterview, Riley recalled her recent nuptials with Brodie-Sangster. The pair lives together in Hertfordshire — where they tied the knot in the village of Anstey — in a smallholding full of animals.

From sheep and ponies to ducks and chickens, the couple has lots of company, as well as a beehive that they recently added — which came close to ruining their wedding day.

The day before the ceremony, Riley recalled, “The caterer came to me somewhat flustered and said, ‘There’s a huge swarm of bees right where we want to have the champagne reception. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life. Please come quickly.’ ”

“So I went to the back garden and there was a huge black cloud,” she toldThe Times. “Biblical plague proportions.”

With some help from her beekeeper’s mentor, Riley said, the cloud of bees was wrangled back into the hive — and the actress now views the moment as a good omen of sorts.

“Historically in a family, people go and speak to the bees and tell them about births, marriages and deaths. Apparently when Queen Elizabeth II died they went to tell the royal bees,” she told the outlet. “And so the night before the wedding, we went to the bees to say, ‘Welcome. We’re getting married tomorrow, just for your information.’ ”

“Anyway, they’re still with us,” she added.

But she will not be beekeeping much in the coming months, as she has plans to accompany her actor husband on his next shoot in Australia, she toldThe Times, adding, “I think his career is the notable and exciting one.”
