Taron Egertonis “working on” trying to make anotherKingsmanmovie come to fruition.
On Thursday, Dec. 5, the 35-year-old actor — who starred in 2015’sKingsman: The Secret Serviceand 2017’sKingsman: The Golden Circle— told theAssociated Pressat the Los Angeles premiere of Netflix’sCarry-Onthat he feels theKingsmanstory “isn’t finished.”
“Playing that role, playing [Gary “Eggsy” Unwin], it started everything off for me,” Egerton said.
“It was an incredible time in my life. I also feel that the story isn’t finished. I think there’s one more — I think there’s just something worth telling.”
Egerton added that he’s also had a discussion with costarColin Firth— who appeared as Harry Hart/Galahad alongside him in both films — about the future of the series.
“I mean, it’s not up to me, but I know that there’s the will to make it. I want to make it,” he said. “I’ve been and sat down with Colin as recently as last year to try and talk to him about it. I mean, yeah, I’m working on it.”
The franchise previously had a spinoff in February withArgylle, which featuredHenry Cavillas a Kingsman agent and arrived three years after the 2021 prequelThe King’s Man.

As for Egerton’s latest film,Carry-Onalso starsSofia CarsonandJason Bateman, and follows an airport security officer who “races to outsmart a mysterious traveler forcing him to let a dangerous item slip onto a Christmas Eve flight,” per asynopsis.
Carry-Onarrives on Netflix on Dec. 13.
