Teen Mom's Ryan Edwards Expecting Baby with Girlfriend Amanda Conner: 'Very Happy for This New Chapter' (Exclusive)

Ryan Edwardsis set to be a dad again.

“Ryan and I are very excited about our pregnancy. We have overcome so much in the last year and a half, and we are in a very happy, safe place,” Conner exclusively tells PEOPLE in a statement.

“For me, I can enjoy this pregnancy and I have a second chance at motherhood. For Ryan, he is in a place that he hasn’t been in for a long time. We are excited to move forward from our past mistakes.”

“We have a great support system with family and friends, and they are very happy for this new chapter of our lives. We found out only due to me having morning sickness, and ironically, Ryan had morning sickness as well and we just decided to take a test and it came out to be positive,” adds the mom-to-be.

Edwards is also dad to son Bentley, 15, whom he shares with ex Maci Bookout McKinney and son Jagger, 6, and daughter Stella, 4, with ex MacKenzie Edwards.

Last October, Edwards revealed on theTeen Mom: Next Chapterreunion that he was five months sober. In an episode ofTeen Mom: Next Chapterover the summer, hetold Bookout that he plannedtogo to a rehab centerin Austin for 30-45 days.

The arrest came after Edwards was ordered to rehab after beingarrestedin March on charges involving Edwards.According to a March 1 press releasefrom the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department in Tennessee, Edwards was arrested on charges of stalking and violation of an order of protection.

Since working on his sobriety, Edwards has been spending quality time with his kids. In October 2023, he shared a photo of his son Bentley asthe two spent some time together playing golf. Both wore matching polos and hats and smiled together while they placed their arms around each other.

This past June, the twowere again photographed on the golf course, this time posing with Edwards' girlfriend Conner. The proud dad also shared a photo of Bentley driving a car.
