Texas Man Allegedly Killed a Father and Son, Told Woman to Stop Performing CPR on Victim: Police

Romi Frentescu is being held in McLennan County Jail on two counts of capital murder, according to jail records.

The outlets reported that the man was later identified as Frentescu.

The victims were identified as Michael Morris, 38, and Braxton Johnson, 18, a father and son, according to KWTX.

Police say Frentescu himself called 911 to say he had been jumped and that he was going home, according to the reported affidavit. Frentescu allegedly told police upon questioning that a man had “flipped him off”, the outlets reported.

The outlets further reported, citing the affidavit, that Frentescu told police he followed the man and told him to leave him alone before a fight broke out.

Frentescu then allegedly said he was threatened with a knife after the fight started and that he was on the ground when he began firing his gun, according to the reported affidavit.

It is not immediately clear if Frentescu has been formally charged or if he has entered a plea. He is being held on a $1 million bond.
