The Secret Lives of Mormon Wiveshas quickly become one of Hulu’s biggest reality series since its premiere in September. Now, Hulu has confirmed that the ladies ofMomTokwill bring the dancing and drama back to our screens for another 20 episodes!
The first season premiered on Sept. 6, 2025, and in just days, it became the most-watched unscripted season premiere on Hulu this year. It fell in Nielsen’s Top 10 original series for the week of its premiere — and it was only available for three of the seven days in consideration.
Now that it’s been confirmed that there’s more Mormon mom drama to come, fans are excited to learn what’s in store. Season 1 left off with MomTok founderTaylor Frankie Paulstill questioning boyfriend Dakota Mortensen’s loyalty andMayci Neeleyreaching out to the infamous Jenna. Meanwhile,Jennifer Affleckwas struggling with relocating asher husband Zacpursued medical school. And of course,Whitney Leavittdecided to walk away from MomTok, but will her decision stick?

The season 1 cast was comprised ofDemi Engemann,Jessi Ngatikaura,Jennifer Affleck,Mikayla Matthews,Whitney Leavitt,Mayci Neeley,Layla TaylorandTaylor Frankie Paul.
Before she was confirmed to be returning, Leavitt didindividually hint at season 2 in a TikTokposted on Oct. 4, 2025.
In the video, Leavitt sits with husband Conner, who voices overKris Jenneras she infamously askedKim Kardashian, “What would happen if you just called Taylor up and ask what happened, how did this go so South?”
Fans are also eager to catch up with Jennifer and Zac Affleck as the two navigate the difficulties in their relationship. The couple has reportedly struggled with the reactions to the show, with Jen making jokes about it in a number of TikTok videos. The end of season 1 saw them not only trying to make the most of their differences but alsofacing a big moveas Zac begins his medical school journey.
Along with the drama, everyone’s excited for more fun. Season 2 is likely to include plenty more beautiful moments of sisterhood between the cast as they sympathize with each other over balancing modern life and faith, navigating life as working mothers and keeping financial matters and relationship dynamics in check.
Hulu’s announcement indicates that another 20 episodes ofThe Secret Lives of Mormon Wivesare in store. Season 1 had just eight episodes, all jam-packed with laughter, tears and TikToks, so there’s plenty more to come!
At this time, there’s no official word on whether all 20 episodes will make up season 2 or if there will be a third season.
While there isn’t a full length trailer forThe Secret Lives of Mormon Wivesseason 2 yet, Hulu did release a teaser in March 2025, giving fans a peek at the drama that’s in store in the new episodes. Not only does the teaser show the moms back together again, but it also introduces new cast member Madison Hope.
In the short clips that are included in the 30 second preview, Zac can be seen showing up at Jennifer’s door with flowers after the couple’s future was uncertain at the end of the show’s first season. The promo also shows a positive pregnancy test, along with police sirens.
“They’re holding grudgesbecause I don’t even know why,” Leavitt says in the promo, though it’s not clear exactly who she’s talking about.
Sources indicated toTMZandDeadlinethat the show is already in pre-production in Utah, but Hulu has not offered any official details on filming locations or timeline. With the show set to premiere in the spring, we’re likely to see the ladies enjoying the fall and winter in the coming installment.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wivesseason 2 will return with new episodes on Hulu on May 15.
