White Collarmay be back sooner than you think!
Tiffani Thiessentells PEOPLE exclusively she hopes the anticipated revival of the police procedural gets turned around “pretty fast.”
The actress, 51, played Elizabeth Burke in all six seasons of the show. When asked about the upcoming revival, Thiessen says: “I’m sure you’ve seen and heard in the news that it’s moving forward to a certain degree.”

She adds, “We hope it turns around pretty fast. We’ll see.”
The actress, who has partnered withIsopureto developprotein-boosted recipes, also tells PEOPLE thather daughter Harper, 14,is currently “obsessed withWhite Collar.”

Throughout the series, Elizabeth, a busy event planner and Peter’s wife, is supportive of her husband’s career and even offers him some advice from time to time. She also develops a caring relationship with Neal and steps in as a mediator when he butts heads with Peter.

“It’s a fantastic script and it answers all the questions that one would have if you watch the show,” DeKay said at the event. “And it would introduce the show to those who haven’t seen it as well. Both edges of the sword are honed.”
Thiessen added that the revival honors late costarWillie Garson, who starred as a conman named Mozzie, “with such sensitivity and such heart.”
“I told Jeff after I finished it, I literally was so excited, but at the same time had tears in my eyes — for good reason,” she said. “You captured the suspense, the thrill, the characters and the love in that reboot.”
