TikTokerKyle Marisa Roth’s cause of death has been determined,according to TMZ.
Citing Maryland’s chief medical examiner, the outlet reported on Tuesday, Aug. 20, that Roth died ofcardiac arrhythmia— or irregular heartbeat — frommyocardial fibrosis, or the scarring of heart tissue. (The medical examiner’s office told PEOPLE they could not immediately provide more information.)
Although news ofher death was announcedon April 15, her sisterLindsay Rothsaid that Kyle had died the week before.
“My sister Kyle Marisa passed away last week. [A]s a family we are still processing and deciding how to properly celebrate and honor her life,” Lindsay wrote online, sharing a photo of the internet personality.

The image showed Kyle at what appeared to be a lake, smiling as she held a dog in her lap.
“We don’t know [what] happened yet. I know she touched so many people with her humor, intelligence, beauty, gossip activism, athleticism and more — she had so many gifts,” Lindsay added then.
ActressJulia Foxshared her condolences in the comment section at the time, writing that she was “devastated” over Kyle’s death though the two had never met.
Fox, 34, wrote that she had “been crying ever since the news leaked on TikTok” and called Kyle “a ray of sunshine.”

“This is not a platform for personal life shares but so many of my connections on this platform go back years and I have a devastating loss to share,” Kyle’s mother,Jacquie Cohen Roth, wrote in her own LinkedIn post announcing her daughter’s death.

She also added a photo of her and Kyle smiling as the sunset was seen in their background.
