Tina Knowlesis prouder than ever of her daughterBeyoncé.
The fashion designer, 71, reacted to the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer’s historic wins at the 2025 Grammy Awards in a preview clip ofThe Jennifer Hudson Showset to be aired on Monday, Feb. 24.
While promoting her upcoming memoir,Matriarch, Tina confessed she was “screaming” when it was announced thatBeyoncé had won album of the yearfor her country albumCowboy Carterat the Feb. 2, ceremony. The singer — who holds the record for the most Grammy wins of any artist in history — now boasts35 wins and 99 nominations.
“I was at her house and I was there to help [her] andBlueget ready,” Tina told Hudson. “I was just not expecting it, I was really, really shocked," she said of the moment Beyoncé’s win was announced.
“I was sitting there with mygranddaughter Rumi and my grandson Sirand for a second, we were just sitting there," she continued.
Tina revealed she didn’t register the win properly until the camera showed the “Single Ladies”singer’s shocked expression, which went viral on social media.
“I couldn’t believe it because there’s been so many times that I thought that would happen and it didn’t,” she told Hudson.
Tina also joked about granddaughter Blue Ivynudging her famous mom to stand up, poking fun at how the 13-year-old acts like a “manager” to her parents.

“It was funny because then they show Blue… and Beyoncé is sitting like this,” Tina said, recreating her daughter’s openmouthed expression. “And Blue is saying ‘get up’ as she walked on the stage, so they call her the manager."
“She’s a bossy little Capricorn like her grandma,” she joked.

Hudson also brought up the momentAlicia Keysgave her other daughter Solange, 38, a shout-out for her work as a female producer while receiving theDr. Dre Global Impact Award at the Grammys.
The talk show host told Tina that her “whole family is talented” before praising both daughters for making her proud.
“I’m proud of Solange always,” Tina replied. “Solange is such an artist, you know, she’s really an artist."
