Travis Kelce Reveals His Best and Worst Subjects in School and They Might Surprise You

Travis Kelcealways loved sports as a kid, but he wasn’t bad at school, either.

During an interview withExtrapublished on Wednesday, Oct. 2, theAre You Smarter Than a Celebrity?host, 34, said he was “one of those kids that tested rather high” in school but was “playing sports more than studying.”

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, however, noted that when it comes to questions on the show—whichtests celebrities on a range of subjects pulled from elementary school curriculum— his “realm” is “STEM, science, math, things like that.”

“I just stay in there. But any history questions, I’m like, ‘I don’t know if anybody knows that,’ and sure enough, everybody does but me,” he joked.

The NFL star credits his brother,Monday Night Countdowncommentator and retired playerJason Kelce, as being the “very studious” one.

“He was an honors student,” said Kelce. “He tested well and all that and everything. He decided to be in all advanced classes. I was like ‘that’s too much homework for me.’ But yeah, Jason, I think he would do pretty good [on the show].”

The football player, who is also part of theGrotesqueriecast, shared when confirmed as the host of theAre You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?spinoff in April thathe “grew up loving game shows.”
