He and the Hensels, who are dicephalus conjoined twins meaning they have two heads but one torso and share organs and body parts below the waist, live together in Minnesota, where the sisters were born and raised. Born in Tennessee, Bowling is a decorated veteran who served as a healthcare specialist, or a combat medic, in the U.S. Army.
During his service, he was deployed with the 1st Cavalry Division to Iraq and Afghanistan. After his military service, Bowling pursued a career in healthcare as a registered nurse in Minnesota, where he now works in providing support to fellow veterans in hospice.
“I dealt with a lot of death and dying — the bad version of it,” Bowling toldThe Minnesota Star Tribunein 2021.
Hospice care, which he first experienced during training for his registered nursing license, “felt like a calling,” he said.
“If there’s the ability to give someone a peaceful death rather than what I was accustomed to, I was interested in that,” he said.
The June post followed anotherTikTokthe twins posted in May ofsweet snapshots from the wedding, including photos of the two in a bridal gown and posing with Bowling’s daughter. “#forever,” they simply captioned the post.
