D’Angelo Russell has been in a relationship with his girlfriend, Laura Ivaniukas, since at least 2020.

The Los Angeles Lakers point guardmet Ivaniukas, a model, during New York Fashion Week. While Ivaniukas admitted that she “didn’t take him seriously” initially, the two eventually began dating and publicly posted about their relationship for the first time in 2020.

Since then, Russell and Ivaniukas have welcomed two children together: a son in 2022 and a daughter in 2024.

Ivaniukas supports Russell in his career and often posts photos of him and their family on social media. Ivaniukas works as a fashion model who is signed toOption 1 Modelsin Chicago.

In 2019, she appeared in theLounge Swimwear Fashion ShowandMare Miami Swim Week, and a year later, she worked with Fernando Alberto Atelier Resort. She has also been a swimwear model forSports IllustratedandVICHI Swim.

She and Russell began dating in 2020

Ivaniukas and Russell met in N.Y.C. during New York Fashion Week. Although they have only shared a few details about the start of their relationship, the professional basketball player revealed that he made the first move.

While it’s not known when they made their relationship official, Ivaniukas first shared photos of Russell on social media in June 2020,posting picturesof them together on vacation in Lake Cumberland in Kentucky.

They have two kids

In May 2022, Ivaniukas posted a photo of Russell with his hand on her stomachon Instagram. A few months later, their son, Riley Jonas Russell, was born on Sept. 24, 2022.

Ivaniukasannounced his birth a day laterwith a photo of Riley’s arm with a hospital tag around it. She latershared a snapof herself holding Riley with the caption, “10 days since you made me a mama, life got a whole lot sweeter.”

The couple’s daughter, Mila-Rose Russell, was born on Aug. 9, 2024. Ivaniukas announced the news withphotos of the newborn. “We love you endlessly," she wrote.

She’s interested in health and fitness

Ivaniukas often posts photos of herself exercising or going to the gym. In the past, she’s uploaded videoson YouTubeof herself boxing and working out.

Ivaniukas has also collaborated with fitness expert Bryan Chang. In January 2021, sheannounced the launch of her Project Y fitness challenge, which she worked on with Chang.

Ivaniukas enjoys sharing pictures of herself with Russell on Instagram. In honor of his birthday in February 2024, she posted a tribute to him alongside several pictures. “Happy Birthday to my best friend & loml. Can’t imagine life without you! We love you more than you know xx,” she wrote.

The summer prior, in July 2023, she shared photos ofherself with Russell and their son on vacationin Hvar, Croatia, and called them her “besties.” Russell replied, “Love my lil fam fam.”

Ivaniukas is also activeon TikTokand has over 40,000 followers on the platform.

She has said Russell is “amazing” at karaoke

In an episode of Whistle Sports’Spa Day, when Russell was asked to name his go-to karaoke song, Ivaniukas said, “He is amazing at karaoke. I wish I had footage right now to show you guys … This guy was killing it, standing on tables singing.”
