James Kennedyand Ally Lewber have called it quits.

Lewber announced her split from Kennedy on Jan. 22 — a month after police were called to the couple’s Los Angeles home “regarding an argument between a man and a woman.“Kennedy was arrestedon the evening of Dec. 10 on a charge of misdemeanor domestic violence.

“I gave him a chance to really show me who he is,” Lewber noted, before adding that “he’s lovely.”

So, who is James Kennedy’s ex-girlfriend? Here’s everything to know about Ally Lewber and her former relationship with the reality star.

She graduated from Belmont University in 2018

Before moving to Los Angeles, Lewber studied at Belmont University in Nashville. According to Lewber’sLinkedIn page, she graduated in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in entertainment industry studies and a minor in entertainment journalism.

In 2020, Lewber enrolled at Penn State, where she spent two years studying weather forecasting, specifically “synoptic/physical meteorology” and “analyzing/reading satellite/radar imagery.” Her interest in meteorology went on to pave the way for her next career endeavor: astrology.

She is a spiritual astrologer

As stated onher website, Lewber is a Hellenistic astrologer. She specializes in birth chart readings and astrology forecasting with the goal of “empowering her clients through “natal astrology” and hopes “to help promote a deeper sense of self-love and acceptance.”

She began dating Kennedy in January 2022

During part two of theVanderpump Rulesseason 10 reunion, Lewber and Kennedy confirmed that they began dating about six weeks after Kennedy ended his engagement to Leviss.

Lewber added in agreement, “We definitely both went into it planning to take things slow. I mean, we did jump into it, but a lot of conversations were had about it.”

Lewber first appeared on Kennedy’s Instagram page in March 2022 when the U.K. native posted photos from their romantic tropical getaway, and subsequently, confirmed their relationship. While Kennedy had already been teasing the identity of his new girlfriend leading up to the trip, the photo dump served asVanderpump Rulesfans’ official introduction to Lewber and their budding romance.

“Only the most magical trip I’ve ever experienced in my entire life, here’s a little slide show of today’s adventure…. Share the love people! and the positivity! cause life’s too short,” Kennedycaptioned the carousel of images, including photos of himself kissing Lewber in Tulum.

She made her red carpet debut with Kennedy at the 2022 iHeart Radio Music Awards

One week after going Instagram official, the love birdsmade their red carpet debutat the 2022 iHeart Radio Music Awards in L.A.

The pair walked the red carpet in matching animal print ensembles. Kennedy wore black leather pants with a half-buttoned white-and-gray leopard print shirt, while Lewber opted for a black-and-blue mini dress with a similar animal print pattern.

During a confessional interview, Lewber opened up about Kennedy’s “really weird” friend group and the challenges it’s presented her and their relationship thus far.

Nevertheless, Lewber powered through her rookie season and returned to film season 11 — much of which was filmed at Kennedy’s L.A. home.

She and Kennedy moved in together in June 2023

In 2023, Kennedy purchased his first home — and invited Lewber to move in. The spacious abode in Burbank, Calif., featured three bedrooms, a swimming pool and a DJ studio for Kennedy.

She’s a singer

Lewber released her debut single, “Girl’s Girl,” in April 2024. She co-wrote the song with Kennedy, who also produced the track.

Kennedy was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence in December 2024

Police were called to Kennedy’s home on Dec. 10 at 11:30 p.m. “regarding an argument between a man and a woman.” The DJ was arrested on a charge of misdemeanor domestic violence and released on $20,000 bail, perTMZ. Lewber has since been identified as the woman involved.

Kennedy and Lewber attendedKathy Hilton’s annual holiday party earlier that same evening, and a source told PEOPLE that “James was acting super aggressive all night long.”

The following day, Lewber, who was all smiles,hosted an eventfor clothing brand Windsor in L.A. She eventually broke her silence on Instagram Stories, writing, “Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support and for checking in on me.I’m okay and taking the time I needright now.”

Kennedywill not face criminal charges.

On Jan. 22, Lewber announced on her Instagram Stories that she and Kennedy “are no longer together” following the incident in December 2024.

“I am happy that prosecutors decided not to file against James as I never desired criminal charges,” she shared. “We had an argument outside of his home related to him drinking again, however, I was not physically hurt.”

Lewber continued, “I’ll always support James and wish him the best with his sobriety and healing.”
