Scott Speedmanand Lindsay Rae Hofmann are parents — again!

The couple welcomed their second child,son Indy Roy, in September 2024. Speedman and Hofmann are already parents to daughterPfeiffer Lucia, who was born in October 2021.

Hofmann and Speedman went Instagram official in 2017 and eventuallygot engagedin June 2023. The Juillet co-founder announced the happy news on Instagram, writing, “yes” alongside a photo of her diamond ring.

In 2017, Hofmann co-founded Juillet, a collection of contemporary and luxury swimsuits. Several celebrities have worn the brand, includingJanuary Jones,Hailey BieberandBella Hadid.

Prior to that, Hofmann worked as a brand consultant and fashion editorial account manager, according to herLinkedIn.

She co-hosted a podcast

Along with running her swimwear company, Hofmann co-hosted the podcastReal Girl Serieswith her two friends, Jess and Giana.

The interview-based podcast launched in February 2020, and it focused on mental health, wellness and spirituality. However, the trio seem to be on a hiatus as they haven’t published an episode since April 2022.

She was first linked to Speedman in 2017

Speedman and Hofmann have been romantically linked since 2017.

In July of the same year, the first photo of the couple appeared on Hofmann’sInstagramwith the caption, “magical night.”

They also spent the holidays together a few months later. OnInstagram, Hofmann shared a black-and-white snap of the two cuddling while wearing festive hats.

“Just us being cheeky and cute #canadianchristmas,” she captioned the photo, seemingly nodding to Speedman’s Canadian upbringing.

In October 2021, Speedman toldEsquirethat Hofmann was an avid viewer of two series he eventually landed.

“She started watchingYou,and then I ended up on that show,” he said. “She started binge-watchingGrey’s Anatomyon Netflix during the pandemic, and here I am. Whatever she seems to watch, I seem to end up on.”

Speedman told PEOPLE that he gets a kick out of Hofmann enjoying the projects he acts in.

“Part of the fun of me doing shows like this is that she gets really excited about it,” he said.

She and Speedman share two children

Speedman and Hofmann welcomed their first child,daughter Pfeiffer Lucia Speedman, at home on Oct. 26, 2021.

Later, Speedman described the birthing experience toThe Cutas “incredible.”

“It’s a wild thing to experience, to be there to watch, to see this person you love so much going to this level,” he told the outlet.

On Sept. 2, 2024, the couple celebrated the arrival of their second child,son Indy Roy.

“Our hearts have burst right open and we’ve fallen madly in love,” Hofmann wrote on Instagram. “You came fast and furious the day after your daddy’s birthday and on your official due date—September 2nd at 7:12 am at a surprising 8lbs. We love you Indy bug, it was always you.”

She chose their daughter’s name

Speedman revealed that Hofmann chose their daughter’s name. “That seemed important,” he toldThe Cut,adding, “and, obviously, she’s doing all the heavy lifting.”

Speedman and Hofmann have a Labrador named Bodhi, and, according to the actor, that was one of his biggest concerns about bringing an infant home.

“He’s been really good,” he toldThe Cut.“He’s very curious; sometimes, he’s a little scared of her too. It’s a big change for him, so we’re all going through it.”

Despite being a first-time father, Speedman acknowledged he had it easier adjusting to parenthood than Hofmann. “I have less of a role at this point, and I’m the support unit,” he said.
